Gaming, course wrap up, and final thoughts:
In today’s class we discussed a topic I am oh so familiar with: gaming. Specifically, how games can be used for educational purposes and specific types of games.
Types of Games:
- Gamified Learning activities
- Single-player digital games
- Multiplayer games
- Active vs Immersive games
It was awesome to be shown, https://pbskids.org/games/, which has an awesome website that divides the different games up into different subject areas. I surprisingly didn’t find this resource when doing my tech inquiry on what role video games have in the classroom.
