Cross-Curricular, Coding & Computational Thinking
In TechEd this week we learned about how coding can have a place in the classroom. In only recent history, coding has been able to make its way into the classroom. Michael argued that when students understand coding it helps students understand the world and learning to code can allow students to develop problem-solving skills and computational skills. Lastly, coding can also be very fun for students.

On Instagram, I have been following “inquiry teacher”, Rebecca Bathurst-Hunt, a kindergarten teacher and fellow believer of inquiry-based learning. She made a post about how to introduce coding in a kindergarten class, which at first glance I thought was crazy.
